The bridge to Edisto - new & old

Sometime during the early 90s, a new bridge was built from the mainland onto Edisto Island.

The old bridge is gone, but many still remember it fondly. I did cross that old bridge a few times as a child, but unfortunately have no memory of it. As I understand, the old bridge was taken out to sea and dropped into the ocean to create an artificial reef. I'm sure it's surrounded with marine life now.
