Sandcastles and digging holes on the beach

For children, there is just something about making a big mound of sand, or digging a giant hole on the beach. If you dig hole big enough, someone will inevitably make a comment about digging all the way to China. Here are a couple of the remains of the digging and building projects of some children (or maybe some adults?) this past week. The picture really doesn't do that hole justice...it is deeper than it looks here.
